Alma Batts

Alma Brown Batts, 90, of Wilson, died Monday, October 27, 2025.

Her funeral will be Friday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Thursday, 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Many will remember her from Roses at Parkwood and she had been active in the Salvation Army in years gone by.

Surviving is her daughter, Susie Batts (Susan Mercer) of Wilson; son, Randy Batts (Pat) of Wilson; grandchildren, Amanda Alford (Dustin) of Lucama, Emily Saucedo (Eduardo) of Clayton; great-grandchildren, Levi and Logan Alford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Batts in 2021; parents, Raymond and Smithie Person Brown; sister, Doris Skinner; brothers, Billy, Robert and Raymond Brown, Jr.
