Alma Summerlin

Alma Davis Summerlin, 87, of Elm City, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Funeral, Monday, 6:00 PM, at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church, followed by visitation.  Interment, Tuesday, 11:00 AM, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, and she loved her family and the Lord.  Alma enjoyed traveling and flowers.  She was a lifetime member of Oak Grove FWB Church.

Mrs. Summerlin was preceded in death by her husband, Yates Summerlin; son, Robbie Summerlin; sisters, Audrey Ferrell and Rachel Hinnant.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Baker (Ray), Wanda Parrish (Woody) and Terry Bunting (Lee) all of Elm City; daughter-in-law, Arty Summerlin of Elm City; grandchildren, Kristy Kidd (Bucky), Kevin Baker (Bridgette), Ashley Bass (Roger), Matthew Parrish, Holly Summerlin, Steven Baker (Jessica), Jake Summerlin (Tammy) and Casey Bunting; great-grandchildren, Morgan Kidd, Chelsea Kidd, Noah Bass, Charlie Bass, Brayden Bass, Bella Baker, Olivia Baker, Greyson Baker, Savannah Jo Summerlin, Oliver Summerlin and Avalyn Hooks; sister, Shirley Davis of Wilson; brother, Randy Davis (Debbie) of Wilson.
