WILSON - Alton Hubert Hamm, 85, died Thursday, December 17. 2009.
Funeral, Saturday, 1 PM, Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2630 Tilghman Rd. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
He was an Army squad leader in World War II in the South Pacific and worked for the City of Wilson electrical department for over 40 years.
Surviving is his wife, Ernestine Lucas Hamm; daughter, Debbie Baucom (Dan) of Raleigh; son, Al Hamm of Wilson; granddaughter, Aimee Sickels (Cary) of High Point; great-grandchild, Easton Sickels; brother, Arnold L. Hamm (Melba) of Wilson.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Friday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
