Annis Gray Rackley

Annis Gray Rackley, 96, of Wilson, died Thursday, August 13, 2026.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at Grace Baptist Church on Monday at 6:00 PM followed by visitation. Interment will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will also receive guests Sunday, 3:00-6:00 PM, at 4702 Country Club Dr, Wilson.

Mrs. Rackley, a retired nurse, was a very special lady and loved everyone.

She is survived by her daughter Gay Little (Willie) of Elm City; sons, Charlie Edmundson (Janet) and Dennie Edmundson (Gloria) of Elm City, and Bennie Edmundson (Dianne) of Wilson; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and three step-great-grandchildren.

A special thank you is extended to Gentiva Hospice, Angela Stoddard, Brittney, Jonathan, and Karen Sprinkle, her caregiver for the last few years.
