FREMONT - Ava Peele Hill, 81, of Swansboro, formerly of Fremont, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013.
Funeral, Thursday, 11:00 AM, Elmwood Cemetery, Old Section.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Hill, in 2005; sisters, Virginia Mooring and Mayola Waddell; brother, Robert Peele and son-in-law, Jerry Horne.
Surviving are her daughters, Julia Kearney (Bill) with whom she lived; Teresa Horne of Nahunta and Diane Rand (Phillip) of Cape Carteret; grandchildren, Chad Kearney, Chris Kearney (Sherry), Ashley Horne, Karen Howell (Shawn) and Jennifer Powell; great-grandchildren, Karley Kearney, Riley Kearney and Isabel Howell; step-great-grandchildren, Lacey Barrett and Reece Williford; sister, Frances Price (Larry) of Wilson.
