ELM CITY - Barbara Edmondson Johnson, 76, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
Funeral, Sunday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service. Interment, Batts Family Cemetery. The visitation will be at the funeral home, Saturday, 7 - 8:30 PM.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Tommy" Johnson in 2002; parents, Charles Thomas and Lanie Tolston Edmondson; and brother, C. T. Edmondson, Jr. (Carolyn).
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Johnson of the home, Tommie Ellen Dildy (Kenneth) of Wilson and Mary Hendricks (Johnny) of Elm City; grandchildren, Trevor Johnson Dildy (fiancée, Mikaila A. Harris), Bert Hendricks (Patricia), Johnny Hendricks (Michelle) and Jennifer Hendricks; great-grandchildren, A. J. Hendricks, Johnathan Hendricks, Hunter Hendricks and Daylon Hendricks; sister, Diane Scheibe (Dick) of Rocky Mount; brother, Henry C. Edmondson (Lou Ellen) of Rocky Mount; brother-in-law, Wilber E. Johnson (Gray W.) of Elm City; seven special nieces; dear friends, Dora & Frank Haggard of Rocky Mount, June & Dan Godwin of Wilson, Audrey & Ken Everette of Henderson and Barbara E. Griffin of Wilson.
