SIMS - Benny L. Glover, 76, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Funeral, Friday, 7 PM, Sims United Methodist Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Masonic burial rites will be accorded, Saturday, 12 Noon, Glover Family Cemetery, near the home. Benny farmed, served on the Sims Fire Department and in the Wilson Moose Lodge. He was a member of the Bailey Masonic Lodge, was a Shriner and was honored to be active on the Sudan Horse Patrol. Surviving is his wife, Peggy Godwin Glover; sons, James Glover of Sims and Ken Glover of Wilson; grandson, Dylan Glover; daughter, Angie Glover of Wilson. Memorials are suggested to the Sudan Shriners Childrens Hospital Fund, 403 East Front Street, New Bern, NC 28560, or to Sims United Methodist Church, PO Box 110, Sims NC 27880.
