WILSON - Bessie Whitley Stancil, 89, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008. She was the widow of Durward Stancil. Funeral, Friday, 2 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park. Surviving is a daughter, Roselyn Brown of Chocowinity: son, Jerry D. Stancil of Wilson: three grandchildren: seven great-grandchildren: sister, Mary Lee Edwards of Wilson: brothers, Claude B. Whitley and Ernest Whitley of Wilson. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, Thursday, 7 - 8:30 PM. Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 3184, Wilson, NC 27895.
