Bettie Jo Bailey Tew, 73, of Wilson, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
Funeral, Saturday, 10:00, First Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, preceded by visiting for one hour. Interment, 12:00 Noon, Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, Section J.
She graduated from East Carolina University in 1964 and taught in public and private schools for over 30 years.
Bettie Jo is survived by her husband, John H. Tew; son, Jack Tew, Jr. (Rebecca) of Bailey; grandchildren, Daniel Tew, Madison Barnes; and her beloved twin, Shellie Pridgen (Kent) of Wilson.
