WILSON - Elizabeth "Betty" Cheek Horton, 77, died Saturday, February 21, 2009. She graduated from St. Mary's School in Raleigh and retired from J. C. Penney Co. Funeral, Tuesday, 2 pm, St Timothy's Episcopal Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Surviving is her husband, William "Bill" Horton: daughter, Beth Thomas (Jim) of Wilson: sons, Billy Horton (Peggy), Jon Horton (Mary Ann) and Eddie Horton, all of Wilson: grandchildren, Farrin Dunn and Sonya Horton: great-grandchild, Payton Dunn: step-grandchildren, Michael, Brandon and Sarah Thomas. Memorials are suggested to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, PO Box 1527, Wilson, NC 27894. of Wilson; sons, Billy Horton
