ELM CITY - Billy Gene Carter, Sr., 78, of the Dunn's Crossroads community, died Saturday, November 9, 2013.
Funeral, Tuesday, 7:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Surviving are his sons, Robert Bruce "Todd" Carter and Shane Carter, both of the home, Billy Carter, Jr. and Mark Carter, both of Charlotte; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Carter; half-sister, Connie Wheeler and half-brother, Curtis Willoughby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Billy Carter Memorial Fund, PO Box 7185, Wilson NC, 27895.
