Bobby Williams

Charles Bobbitt “Bobby” Williams, 68, of Wilson, died Thursday, November 30, 2023.

A graveside service will be Sunday, 2:00 PM, at Maplewood Cemetery.  The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Saturday, 4:00-6:00 PM.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Naomi Barnes Williams; parents, Rossie Mack Williams and Ruby Estelle Whitehead Williams; brothers, Jack Williams and George Williams.

He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a Navy Veteran.

Bobby is survived by his sisters, Peggy Ann Ward of Lexington, Carolyn Williams of Wilson, and Janice Sherrod (Jeff) of Bailey; nieces and nephews, Bonnie Snider, Ken Ward (Trish), Mary Ann Ward, Bobby Joe Ward (Candy), Michell Price (Kenny), Mickey Harris, Larry Evans, Christy Evans (Josh), and Buddy Williams; great-nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Jade, Kaeden, Caroline, Lainey, Cameron, Andrew, Nicholas, Isabel, Connor, Charlie, Renee, LeeAnn, Destiney, Gage, Dillon, and Robbie; beloved pet, Buster.
