Brenda Bandy

Brenda Rose Bandy, 77, of Wilson, died Sunday, June 21, 2020.

Funeral, Wednesday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation.

Brenda was a graduate of Ayden-Grifton High School and North Carolina Wesleyan College.  She was a phenomenal educator for 17 years and then a mentor for new teachers after her retirement.  She loved her family especially her two boys and was the proud Meme of her four grandchildren.  She enjoyed vacationing at Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by her sons, John Bandy (Kimberly) of Whitakers and Frank Bandy (Abby) of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Megan Bandy, Cameron Bandy, Thomas Bandy III and Stephen Bandy; great-grandson, Kaison Bandy; sister, Judith Dail (Ashley) of Winterville; brother, Charles Rose, Jr. (Gail) of Garner; friend, Martha Wilkinson of the home.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rosa Gay Rose.
