WILSON - Brenda Mullins Radford passed away in her Wilson home on May 31, 2016 after a 2 year battle with cancer.

Funeral, Friday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.

Brenda Karen Mullins was born to Ray and Frances Mullins, and siblings Donna and Jeff, on February 20, 1955.

Brenda is survived by three children and their respective spouses: sons, Michael 'Tony' (Crystal) of Apex, Roger (Becky) of Fuquay-Varina and daughter, Stacey (Chad) Miller of Sylva; "Meme" will be missed dearly by her 8 grandchildren, Kylie (11), Leah (10), Thomas (9), Owen (9), Sydney (8), Carson (5), Steven (3) and Oliver (2); sister, Nancy (Wally) Stocks of Wilson; brother, Jeff of Elm City and mother, Frances Harrell of Wilson. Brenda also leaves behind a great companion, Danny Sutton, with whom she has enjoyed much personal time and numerous trips to Daytona Beach.

She was preceded in death by husband Steve Radford, sister Donna Mullens, father Ray Mullens and stepfather Edward Harrell.

She has received tremendous encouragement and support from extended family members, "sister friends", lifelong friends and wonderful workmates from Blue Bell/Wrangler/VF Corporation and Kidde Aerospace. Brenda has always been an avid gardener, a self-proclaimed "beachbum", loved crafting, loved to read, and has always been a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers, NC State Wolfpack and Fike Golden Demons fan. She added Barton College and Western Carolina athletics program support to the mix courtesy of Stacey, Chad and others.
