WILSON - Brownie Johnson Bruton, 87, died June 14, 2008. She was the widow of John B. Bruton, Jr, and a native of the Faro community in Wayne County. Funeral, Monday, 11 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section 1. Surviving is a daughter, Caroline B. Poythress (Royce) of Wilson: granddaughter, Janet P. Beaver (Chad) of Wilson: great-granddaughter, Caroline Bruton Beaver: brother, Ralph E. Johnson of New York City. The family will be at the Poythress home. Memorials are suggested to St Timothy's Episcopal Church, PO Box 1527, Wilson NC 27894. of Wilson; granddaughter, Janet P. Beaver
