ELM CITY - Patrick Andrew "Buddy" Owens, III, 64, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
Funeral, Friday, 10:00 AM, Stantonsburg Cemetery, with Military Rites.
Buddy had served in the Navy during the VietNam War and had worked in the Postal Service.
He is survived by a daughter, Tara Strickland (Thomas) of Elm City; son, Derrick Owens (Michele) of Wilson; grandchildren, Jon Montgomery, Chase Montgomery, Hayley Owens, Thorne Strickland, Caleb Owens, Tanner Strickland, Brandon Owens and Tabitha Strickland; sisters, Rhapsody Squires (Marty) of Wilson and Melody Cabe (Bobby) of Macon, GA; brother, Charles "Chuck" Owens, Jr (Lisa) of Greenville.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Thursday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
