STANTONSBURG - Carl Alvin Moye, 83, died at home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Funeral, Friday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Saturday, 10 AM, Stantonsburg Cemetery.
Carl, a retired farmer, was preceded in death by his son, Carlton L. Moye; parents, Leslie and Carrie Esther Baldree Moye; sisters, Carrie Carraway, Edna Mooring and Kathleen Rowe and brothers, Linwood, Harvey Lee, and Leslie Moye, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Grey Durham Moye; son, Timmy Moye (Tammy) of Stantonsburg; daughter-in-law, Betty Collier Moye of Lucama; grandchildren, Chelsea Moye of Stantonsburg, Tanya Dunn (Chris) of Wilson, Nikki Webb (Brian) of Wilson, Kristin Crank (Aaron) of Lucama and Steven Moye (Sarah) of Baltimore, MD; great-grandson, Carter Webb; sisters, Peggy Flowers and Lucille Batten of Goldsboro and brothers, Ray Moye (Joann) of Wilson and Rollin Moye (Shirley) of Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Free Will Baptist Church, 4865 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27896 or to Watery Branch Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 831, Fremont, NC 27830.
