BLACK CREEK - Carlton R. Crocker, 62, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016.
He had served in the Army and was an equipment operator with Parker-Stockstill Construction Company.
Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, Fremont Free Will Baptist Church. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. The visitation will be Friday, 7-9 PM at Wilson Memorial Service.
He is survived by his daughter, Alyson Crocker Vester (Daniel) of Wilson; son, Lee Crocker of Nashville; grandson, Greyson Crocker; mother, Ruby Barnes Newsome of Kenly; step-children, Christopher, Cassidy and Daniel Lee of Elm City; brother, Jerry Crocker (Sara) of Kenly; sister, Linda Winstead (Cornell) of Kernersville; step-sisters, Debbie Sullivan (Rev. Ricky) of Pikeville and Dana Toler (Jimmy) of Snow Camp and step-brother, Dwayne Newsome of Goldsboro.
Carlton was preceded in death by his father, Rayford Crocker and step-father, Floyd Newsome.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Marsh Swamp OFWB Church, Building Fund, 6664 Rock Ridge School Rd, Sims, NC 27880-9223.
