STANTONSBURG - Carolyn Parrish Strickland, 57, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Funeral, Thursday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Burial, Friday, 10 AM, Bailey Cemetery. The family will be at the home of her mother, 5711 Alton Rd. Surviving is her mother, Nancy Pridgen Parrish Carter: special friend, Edwin Pike of Stantonsburg: step-sons, Robert Strickland (Dawn) of Bailey and Gary Strickland (Betsy) of Lucama: brothers, Don Parrish (Marsha) and Al Parrish (Angie), all of Black Creek: five step-grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew. Memorials are suggested to the Yelverton United Methodist Church Building Fund, 429 Herman Lane Rd, Stantonsburg NC 27883. of Bailey and Gary Strickland
