WILSON - Charles M. Rose, Sr., SFC, E-7, USA, Retd, 83, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005.

His military service included the years of World War II and Korea.

Funeral, Friday, 7:00 PM, Forest Hills Baptist Church with visitation to follow. A military committal service will be on Saturday, 4:00 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park.

Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Geneva Barfield Rose: sons, Charles M. Rose, Jr. (Pauline) of Springfield, VA and Randy Rose (Julia) of Billericay, England; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; sister, Grace Foster of Kenly; brother, Elmer Rose of Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews.
