SIMS - Charlie R. Joyner, 90, died Friday, May 10, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Page Joyner in 2006 and son, Wayne Joyner in 2012.
Funeral, Monday, 7 PM, Milbournie FWB Church followed by visitation. Interment, Tuesday, 11 AM, Bailey Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Horace Joyner (Sarah) of Wilson; daughter-in-law, Nell Lewis Joyner of Buckhorn; grandchildren, Kevin Joyner (Christy) of Wilson, Kelly Chavez (Greg) of Clayton, Heather Scott (Dewey) of Lucama and Jessica Bowman of Chapel Hill; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Jean Cone of Middlesex and Lurenda Risko of Wake Forest.
Memorials are suggested to Milbournie FWB Church, 5854 Countryside Rd, Wilson, NC 27896.
