Wilson - Charmaine Mooring Ferguson, 89, died Thursday, October 22, 2015.
Funeral, Tuesday, 11 AM, New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ferguson was a nurse for 30 years, working at Woodard Herring Hospital with Dr. Spencer in obstetrics and gynecology and was a reservists in the Army during World War II. She was involved in Home Health Care in retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Ferguson, Sr.; parents, Russell H. and Lillian Davis Mooring and sister, Geraldine Barnes.
Surviving is her daughter, Donna Pate (Danny) of Wilson; son, Art Ferguson, Jr. (Susan) of Durham; grandchildren, Lieutenant Charles "Russ" Ferguson, Chaplain, USN, of Singapore, AEW2 Christopher H. Ferguson, USN, of Lexington, MD, Jad Pate of Cary and Jenna Pate of Greenville; sister, Faye Bass of Fremont; brother, Donald Mooring of Mel Esther, FL.
The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Monday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
