STANTONSBURG - Clarence R. Taylor, 77, died July 11, 2007. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired tobacco buyer for Universal Tobacco Co. Funeral, Thursday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Surviving is his wife, Adeline Hill Taylor: daughters, Jayne Grant of Stantonsburg and Barbara Langston of Lucama: son, Ronnie Taylor of Raleigh: eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild: nephews, Shelton, Gary and Donnie Taylor. Memorials are suggested to the Stantonsburg United Methodist Church, PO Box 6, Stantonsburg NC 27883.
