WILSON - Clifford Overman, 75, died Sunday, September 4, 2011.
Funeral, Thursday, 11 AM, First Baptist Church.
Cliff came to Wilson to work with Wallace-Murray Company and went on to retire from Mello Butter Cup Ice Cream as manager. In retirement, he worked with Happy Valley Golf Club.
Surviving is his wife, Ruth Elliott Overman; daughter, Ruth Arensman (Dr. Todd) of Valdese; sons; Cliff Overman, Jr. (Cindy) of Fuquay Varina and Ricky Overman (Barbara) of Rocky Mount; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Bass of Edenton; brother, Jack Overman (Bobbi) of Virginia Beach; several nieces and nephews.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Wednesday, 7 - 8:30 PM.
