Lucama - Connie Collier Lucas, 50, died Thursday, January 10, 2008. Connie had worked with the Wake Heart Center Transportation Unit, Nash General Hospital, and Wilson County EMS. Funeral, Saturday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Sunday, 2:00 PM, Barnes Family Cemetery, Lucama. Surviving is a daughter, Mandy Lucas of Lucama: grandsons, Collin Webb of the home, Shannon Grimes, Jr. and Braxton Grimes of Lucama: mother, Shirley Allen Collier of Lucama: father, William Collier of Smithfield: sister, Norma Jean Moore of Elm City: brother, Tony Collier of Newport: nieces and nephews, Ashley Mozingo, Candace Mozingo, Nikki Collier, Dillon Collier, and Josh Byrd. The family is meeting at the home of Shirley Collier.
