Coon Pittman, Jr.

Coon Pittman, Jr., 97, of Elm City, died Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Funeral, Wednesday, 2:00 PM, Stantonsburg Cemetery.

Mr. Pittman was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Elizabeth Lamm Pittman; daughters, Brenda Baker (Buddy) of Wilson and Susan Wooten (Jr.) of Elm City; son, James Pittman (Brenda) of Wilson; grandchildren, Jamie Pittman, Bryan Pittman (Lori), Lee Baker (Crystal) and Taylor Barnes; great-grandchildren, Kayla Fulghum (Kevin), Cassidy Pittman and Carson Baker.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
