Cooper Peacock

Cooper Person Peacock, Jr., 81, of Stantonsburg, died Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service Thursday, 6:00-7:30 PM. A graveside service will be Friday, 2:00 PM, at the Stantonsburg Cemetery.

Cooper was a lifetime resident of Stantonsburg and had worked at Blue Bell and Nucor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. Most of all he loved his family.

He is survived by his daughter Angie Pittman (A.J.) of Stantonsburg; son, Cooper Peacock III (Maureen) of Nashville; granddaughter, Brittany Peacock; grandson, Alston Pittman III; brother, Joseph Peacock (Marie) of Roanoke Rapids.

Cooper was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Nichols Peacock; parents, Cooper and Reba Owens Peacock.
