Curtis Johnson

J. Curtis Johnson, 93, of Elm City, died Thursday, March 19, 2026.

A visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service on Tuesday, March 24, 6:00 – 7:30 PM.  A graveside service will be at Evergreen Memorial Park on Wednesday, March 25, at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Johnson retired from Stephenson Millwork with 46 years of service.

He is survived by his sons Tim Johnson (Ann) and Terry Johnson (Kay) of Wilson; grandchildren, Miranda Johnson (Patrick), Shannon Klein (Daniel), Chris Johnson (Angela), and Jennifer Pate (Eddie); great-grandchildren, Emma Pate, Liza Pate, Ava Johnson, Allie Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Davis Johnson, and Lilly Klein; sisters, Lorene Godwin of Bailey and Lee Pridgen of Wilson; brother, Elam Johnson (Donna) of Saratoga.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife Elosie Johnson and his parents, Bennett & Gladys Johnson.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Farmington Heights Church, 910 Raleigh Road Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896.
