Dale Edmundson

Dale Coley Edmundson, 79, of Black Creek, died Monday, October 19, 2026.

A service for the family will be held at later date.

Dale was a lifelong citizen of Black Creek and tried to help others in the community where she could. She would resale donated yard sale items and then donate the money to someone in the community who was having a hard time from sickness, job loss, etc. She retired as a newspaper carrier for the Wilson Times.

She is survived by her son Robert Edmundson and wife, Allison, of Wilson; granddaughter, Abby Edmundson; and beloved grand-dogs, Molly and Izzy.

Dale was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Edmundson, and parents, Jimmie and Pennie Bass Coley.

No flowers please. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Daniels Chapel Church, Wednesday Night Meal Ministry, 4828 Frank Price Church Rd, Wilson, NC 27893.
