Danny Powell

Danny Wayne Powell, 65, of the Polly Watson Community, Kenly, died Friday, January 30, 2026.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, February 6, 6:30 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service followed by visitation until 8:00 PM.

Danny worked in auto body painting all of his career and enjoyed building race cars.

He is survived by his sons, Dalton Powell and Dylan Powell of Kenly, and Daniel Powell (Melissa) of Wilson; grandson, Isaac Powell; sisters, Susan Pittman (Doug) of Kenly and Carolyn Moore of Pinetops.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents Silas and Estelle Gupton Powell and Yvonne Pate Smith.
