Darrel Stroud, 81, of Wilson, died Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Funeral, Saturday, November 14, 2:00 PM, at Westmoreland Pentecostal Holiness Church followed by visitation. The family would like for those attending to wear bright colors.

Darrel was a loving husband to Angelia for almost 62 years. He was a devoted father and the best “Papa”. He was outgoing and never met a stranger and loved to tell people about Jesus. He was a strong man.

Darrel is survived by his wife, Angelia Varnell Stroud; granddaughter, Brittany Joyner (Chase); grandson, Dylan Stroud (Harley); great-granddaughters, Gracie Lynn Skinner and Sarah Renae Joyner; sister, Tammy Pittman.

He was preceded in death by son, Darrel “Lynn” Stroud; brothers, Gerald Stroud and Terry Stroud; parents, Jeffie and Goldie Jones Stroud.
