David Johnson

David Arnold Johnson, 74, of Lucama, died Saturday, October 25, 2025.

The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service Tuesday, 6:00-7:30 PM. The funeral will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM, at Little Rock Original Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in Evans Family Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was a Lucama Town Commissioner for over 30 years. He was on the Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department for 48 years, 28 of those years he was the Chief. He retired from Estes Trucking after 30 years of service. Mr. Johnson was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam.

He is survived by his sons, Jeff Johnson (Donna) of Lucama and Dennis Johnson of Pensacola, FL; grandson, Tyler Johnson (Holley) of Lucama; special friend, Judy Mason Lucama; sister, Gail Matthews (Jimmy) of Smithfield; brother, Joey Johnson (Arlene) of Lucama.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife Connie Gurley Johnson; parents, Melvin and Gertie Keene Johnson; sister, Alice Jeannette Massengill.
