WILSON - Deana Mercer Brooks, 73, died Monday, July 21, 2014.
Funeral, Thursday, 10:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
Deana was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Walton and Versie Ellis Mercer, who grew up in Saratoga.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. "Chuck" Brooks; daughters, Dorie Sykes of Wilson, Denise Werdebaugh (Scott) of Burlington, Renee Crabtree of Richmond, VA; son, Rodger F. Brooks, Jr, of Winchester, VA; 7 grand-
children.
