WILSON - Delia Deans Flowers, 94, died Saturday, March 25, 2006. Funeral, Tuesday, 11:00 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section C. Surviving is her daughter, Brenda Strickland and her husband, Joe: sons, Billy Flowers and wife, Lucille, of Wilson and Ray Flowers and wife, Sue, of Stantonsburg:grand-daughter, Lori Bowling of Goldsboro: grandsons, Kelly Strickland, Anthony Flowers and Tim Flowers, all of Wilson, Donald Flowers of Lucama, Bryan Flowers of Apex: three great-granddaughters: two great-grandsons: sisters, Zillie Lamm of Wilson and Molly Keen of Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband, William V. "Bill" Flowers: parents, Anderson and Eliza Morris Deans: brothers, Provert Deans of Kenly, C.J. Deans and Bill Deans of Wilson: sisters, Eva Liles and Nancy Flowers of Wilson. Memorials are suggested to the Sudan Shriners Children's Hospital, PO Drawer 490, New Bern, NC 28563, or to a charity of choice. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, Monday, 7:00 - 8:30, and other times at the Strickland home, 5451 Old Raleigh Rd, Wilson.
