Delores Puckett Hamilton Moyer Gunter, 82, of Wilson, died Sunday, December 22, 2024.

 A service will be held for the immediate family.

Mrs. Gunter was preceded in death by her parents David Eugene Puckett and Letha Doris Thompson Puckett and a brother, Thomas Puckett.

She is survived by her daughter Priscilla Hamilton Watkins (Mike) of Clayton; son, Larry Hamilton, Jr. (Cindy) of Elm City; grandchildren, Lauryn W. Godwin (Ryan), Morgan Watkins (Alex Hedrick), and Clay Hamilton (Akana); step-daughters, Karen Carrouth (Henry) of Graham, Kathy Culley (Scott) of Midlothian, VA, and Beth Rowland (Tommy) of Lancaster, PA; step-grandchildren, Andrew Carrouth (Megan), Adam Carrouth (Courtney), Emily Carrouth, Katherine Culley, Matthew Culley, Jordan Rowland, and Emily R. Potter (Thomas); 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Puckett (Retha) of Selma; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice House, 426 Hospital Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577.
