Dennis Wayne Barnes, 78, of Elm City, died Friday, May 30, 2025.

Funeral, Wednesday, 7:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service. The visitation will be one hour before the service.

He is survived by his wife Linda Winstead Barnes; daughter, Lori Jones (Jay) of Elm City; son, Jeff Barnes (Kim) of Elm City; grandchildren, Josh and Christa Jones; brother, Doug Barnes (Ann) of Kinston; niece, Karen Signorelli (Steve) of Apex; cousins, Joanie Parker Fisher of Wilkesboro, Gail Brewer of Wilson and Lisa Hutchinson (Glen) of Wilson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
