Wilson - Victor Hubert "Doc" Ezzelle, Jr., 81, of Wilson, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
Funeral, Friday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Inurnment, Maplewood Cemetery.
Doc was a graduate of Lucama High School and Pembroke State College. He retired from Southeastern Railroad Associated Bureaus and as a Magistrate in Wilson County. Active in Boy Scouts leadership, he was also a member of the East Carolina Council. He lived in Lumberton from 1952-63.
Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Kay Thompson Ezzelle of the home; son, Brian T. Ezzelle and wife, Anne Carroll Mustian Ezzelle; grandchildren, Elizabeth Love Ezzelle, Meredith Katherine Ezzelle and Alexander Carroll Ezzelle, all of Richmond, VA.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Reid Thompson Ezzelle; his mother, Lou Rackley Ezzelle and father, V.H. Ezzelle.
