Donald Herring

Donald W. Herring, 93, of Wilson, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

The service will be Sunday, 2:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service with visitation one hour before the service.

Mr. Herring was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Sanderson Herring in 2018.  He was retired from Watson Electric and was a vice-president.

He is survived by his daughters, Melanie Herring of Wilson and Marianne Parker and husband, Kevin, and grandsons, Chase and Blake Parker all of Wilmington; brother, Mark Herring, Jr. of Seven Springs.

Donald's family thanks the staff at Spring Arbor of Wilson for the loving care provided for the past six years and the staff of Hospice of Wilson Medical Center for the compassionate care provided during his last days.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Homes of NC, PO Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27361.
