Donald Rogers

Donald Rogers, 94, of the Drivers Store community in Wilson, died Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, at Wilson Memorial Service followed by visitation.

Mr. Rogers was a farmer, a part-time carpenter, and did seasonal work with Imperial Tobacco Company. His favorite pastime was fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Dixie Walston Rogers; daughter, Kathy Dyer (Jason) of Apex; son, Wayne Rogers of Wilson; grandchildren, Sydney Dyer and Matt Rogers (Kristen); great-grandchildren, Raelee and Wyatt Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mary Flora Rogers; sisters, Elsie Lamm and Mary Gray Robbins; brothers, Jesse Rogers and Willie Rogers, Jr.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Bethany Presbyterian Church, c/o Jackie Lamm, 1202 Brookhaven Dr NW, Wilson NC 27896.
