STANTONSBURG - Doris Landen Skinner, 84, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
Funeral, Friday, 2 PM, at Evansdale United Methodist Church followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Stantonsburg Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. "Bud" Skinner; parents, Henry Leslie and Julia Thomas Landen; and sisters, Yvonne Gardner and Christine Parham.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Exum of the home, Jane Lancaster (Ronald) of Stantonsburg; son, Jimmy Skinner (Wilma) of Wilson; grandchildren, Chris Skinner (Mary Beck) of Raleigh, Russ Exum (Sarah) of Columbia, Todd Exum (Katie) of Greenville, Sarah Carraway (Kyle) of Stantonsburg, Julia Lancaster of Stantonsburg; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Reba L. Robbins of Elm City.
