WILSON - Durwood Parker, Jr., 78, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
Funeral, Friday, 7:00 PM at Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Masks are optional.
Durwood is survived by his daughter, Lisa P. Tingen (David) of Stantonsburg; grandsons, Jonathan Tingen (Melissa) of Elm City and Bradley Tingen (Ally) of Wilson; great-grandchildren, Harper Tingen and Scarlett Tingen; sister, Starr Parker-Markham of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Gray Speight (Audrey) of Raleigh.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Parker; parents, Durwood and Daisy Williford Parker; sisters, JoAnn Williams and LaVera Jeffreys.
Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 3219 Landmark St, Ste 9A, Greenville NC 27834.
