WILSON - Edith "Bill" Bailey Greene, 86, died Friday, June 9, 2006. She was the widow of W.L. "Pete" Greene and preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Corzine, and a brother, William Jordan Bailey. Funeral, Sunday, 4:00 PM, First United Methodist Church. Interment, Stantonsburg Cemetery. Surviving is a daughter, Pat Thompson (Joe) of Elm City: son, Robert Greene (Pam) of Richmond, VA: grandchildren, Will Thompson (Bryan), Caroline Thompson, Keron Greene, Christina Greene, Bill Greene (Michelle), Patricia Greene: great-grandchild, Natalie Greene: sisters, Annie Ruth Exum of Wilson, Alta Williams of Raleigh, Mary Thursby of Jacksonville and Bobbie Gordon of Atlantic Beach. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, Wilson, today, 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
