Edith Kirby

Edith Deans Kirby, 91, of Lucama, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Funeral, Saturday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, Wilson, with a period of visiting beginning at 1:00 PM.  Interment, Kenly Cemetery.

Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her husband, W. Leatrice Kirby in 2020; parents, Andrew Jackson and Lessie Barnes Deans of Wilson County; grandson, Andrew Kirby.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Kirby (Ann) of Kenly and Craig Kirby of Clayton; grandchildren, Stephanie Salina (Steven) of Raleigh and Ryan Kirby (Helen) of Lucama; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Tessa, Josiah and Amelia; Pam Kirby, mother of Ryan and Andrew “Drew” Kirby, and grandmother to the four grandchildren named; brother, Kenneth Deans of Chesterfield, VA.
