Edna Pittman Bayless, 96, of Wilson, died Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
A graveside service will be Friday, 10:30 AM, at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors following the service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hocking Bayless; parents, Frank and Alice Spell Pittman, sister, Helen Summerlin (Hubert); brother, Benjamin Spell; nephew, Bobby Summerlin.
Mrs. Bayless is survived by her niece, Frances Summerlin (Laura Barnes) and nephew, Andy Summerlin (Vernon Mason, Jr.) all of Wilson; niece Frances Constans of Rocky Mount; step-son, John H. Bayless, Jr. (Nancy) of Hedersonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Maggie Society, 606 Trinity Dr W, Wilson, NC 27893 or Hospice of Wilson, 2130 Forest Hills Rd W, Wilson, NC 27893.
