WILSON - Edward F. Byrd, 35, died Friday, March 30, 2007. He was a 1990 graduate of Fike High School, UNC-Chapel Hill and was a graduate student at ECU-Greenville. Funeral, Tuesday, 2:00 PM, First Baptist Church, 311 Nash St, W, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Surviving are his parents, John S. and Joyce Wood Byrd with whom he lived; brothers, John Byrd, II, of Raleigh and David Byrd of New York City; maternal grandmother, Eunice "Tink" May Wood of Nashville; special friend, Angela Stewart of Clayton, and a very warm and loving extended family. The family will be at home, 1919 Canal Dr, NW. Memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice.
