Elizabeth Pittman

KENLY - Elizabeth Askew Pittman went to be with her Lord early Monday morning, October 6, 2008. A service to celebrate her life will be Thursday, October 9, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a member for more than 65 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and received the Lifetime Membership Award. Dr. Richard Glosson , Rev. Andy Bunn and Mr. Franklin Lane will officiate. Interment will be in the Kenly Cemetery. Elizabeth was born in Kenly, NC on September 25, 1921, to the late A.G. Askew and Willie Baker Askew. Preceding her in death was her husband of over fifty years, Eldridge Pittman. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Kay E. Pittman
