WILSON - Estelle Privette Strickland, 92, widow of John H. Strickland, died Saturday, March 28, 2009. Funeral, Tuesday, 11 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Old Section on Hill Street. Surviving is a daughter, Ramona Duke of Clearwater, FL: two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: brother, Ralph Privette of Gastonia. Memorials are suggested to Winstead United Methodist Church, 1407 Tarboro St, SW, Wilson, NC 27893.
