Esther Cherry
October 6, 1922 — March 5, 2014
WILSON - Esther Proctor Cherry, 91, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
Funeral, Saturday 1 PM, First Baptist Church, followed by visitation.
Mrs. Cherry was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Jacob and Lena Williford Proctor; husband, Amos T. Cherry; son, Steve Cherry; sisters, Ethel Wooten, Louise Walker and Orie Cooper. She was retired from Sears.
She is survived by her son, Gene Cherry of Raleigh; daughter-in-law, Ruby S. Cherry of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson (Steve) of Youngsville; grandson, Michael Cherry (Martha) of Red Oak; great-grandchildren, Victoria Johnson, Coleman Cherry and Georgia Cherry.
