Evelyn Hill

Evelyn Pate Hill, 93, of Wilson, died Saturday, December 24, 2022.

A service will be held for and at the convenience of the family.  The visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2023 at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 1407 Forest Hills Rd NW, Wilson, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, James A. “Jim” Hill; sister, Annie Lee Deaver and brothers, Ralph and Linwood Pate.

She is survived by her daughter, Ginger Lassiter (Jay) of Raleigh; son, Reid Hill of Wilson; grandchildren, Chris Hill (Michelle) and Elizabeth Hill, Trey Lassiter and Vance Lassiter; great-grandchildren, Ripken Hill, Thatcher Hill and Elkin Hill.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Free Will Baptist Children’s Home, PO Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557 or to Forest Hills Baptist Church, 1407 Forest Hills Rd NW, Wilson, NC 27896.
