WILSON - Evelyn Batchelor Nanney, 77, died Friday, August 24, 2012.
Funeral Monday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service followed by visitation. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Tillman Batchelor and Elizabeth Baker Batchelor; two sisters, Rubie Etheridge and Joyce Duane; and two brothers, Billy D. Batchelor and Roy Thomas Batchelor.
Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at Wilson Technical Community College before retiring.
Mrs. Nanney is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Leo Nanney; two children: Theresa Kim Nanney Goolsby (Chris) of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Robert Leo Nanney II (Carolyn) of Macclesfield; four grandchildren: Pamela Marie Nanney Bunn (Mark) of Kenly and Robert Leo
"Trey" Nanney III (Donna) of Wilson, Kristin Nicolette Cox and Matthew Christopher Goolsby of Ann Arbor, Michigan; four great-grandchildren Leila, Bailey, Chloe and Charlie Bunn of Kenly; and sister, Christine Cooper of Wilson.
